Rabbi Richetti's readings of the Psalms are featured in the volume *Tikkun Tehillim*, published by Moise Levy in Milan in 2005. Born in Milan on June 6, 1950, Rabbi Richetti was the grandson of Rabbi Ermanno Friedenthal. He served as Chief Rabbi of Trieste (1979–1989), Vice Rabbi of Milan (1989–2001), and Chief Rabbi of Venice (2001–2010). From 2009 to 2014, he presided over the Italian Rabbinical Assembly (*Assemblea dei Rabbini d’Italia*).
Widely regarded as one of the foremost authorities in the field of liturgical Jewish music, Rabbi Richetti was also celebrated as one of its most esteemed interpreters. He passed away on April 4, 2021 (22 Nisan 5781), the last day of Pesach.
