Description

Rabbi Bruno Pellegrino Polacco was born in Cesenatico, a port town with about 26,000 inhabitants on the Adriatic coast of Italy, on 23-12.1917. Polacco got the "maskil" title from Collegio Rabbinico Italiano in Roma in 1939, and "semikhah" of "chakham" in 1963. He served as Vice-Rabbi in Venice, then as Rabbi in Ferrara, from 1953 to 1960, and finally in Livorno from 1963 to 1967. He passed away in Livorno on 09.05.1967.
