Psalm 112 is in use for Shabbat minchah in the ashkenazi ritual. It is not in use in the Rome ritual today; but it is possible that we find it here in use in Rome following the tenure of rabbi Castiglioni, born in Trieste and chief rabbi in Rome between 1903 and 1911; he is remembered to have introduced a Shabbat Minchah celebration with many musical inserts inspired from the Trieste ashkenazi ritual (EF).
