Notes on recording
It is notable that the informant records in this item the last strophe of the piyut after the refrain. As the melody is clearly reminiscent of the melody used in the item recorded immediately before (item "Lekhah Dodi - rav Leoni, Ferrara (1)" in the Thesaurus; see also the transcriptions by G. Bassani and Benedetto Marcello), with the second half of the melody being identical, the choice of strophes might indicate a use of this version as a variation for the last strophes of the piyut, something that is found in many other settings for Lekhah Dodi. It is also to be considered, though, that other sources use this particular melody for the whole of the piyut (see Procaccia, Schoenheit).
