Composer

Notes on composer

Roman composer active in the first half of the XIX century. Professor at the congregation of Santa Cecilia.

Notes on music

This contralto part is a transcription of of the "tenore primo" part in the complete score. We present two manuscript parts present in the original collection, which appear identical. The stamp on this score indicates that it must have originally be in use at the "Scuola Siciliana" in Rome, one of the synagogues in the "palazzo delle cinque scole" during the ghetto era.
