Notes on music

Not entirely clear the place for psalm 112 (today not in use) in the Livorno liturgy at the time of the complilation of this collection. It is inserted in the middle of a long list of pieces for the removal of the sefer from the ark on Shabbat morning; but it must be noted that while the index reads "per il Sabato mattina" for all the pieces in that list, this one is indicated solely as "Salmo di David". A roughly coeval setting for the same psalm is found also in the collection of Rome Archive material from the NLI (EF).
