Notes on text

At the beginning of the text (f. 1r) is written: "Solo cantore comincerà la Beraka ed il Coro risponderà Barekù u varekù ed scemo e amen come ogni altra Benedizione" (the solo singer will begin the Berakah/blessin and the choir will answer Barekhu ù-varekù ed Scemo and amen as for any other blessing). The name "Levis" is mentioned on f. 1r. This might be the same "A. Levis" (not yet identified) who composed some liturgical pieces for the Venetian synagogues.
